The Regional Economic Development Service Office for East and Southern Africa (REDSO), located in Nairobi (Kenya), is the USAID office with primary responsibility for the MAC IQC. Two other regional offices-the West Africa Regional Program (WARP), located in Bamako (Mali), and the Regional Center for Southern Africa (RCSA), located in Gaborone (Botswana)-are other principal MAC clients. The three regional offices and USAID Missions and non-presence country (NPC) offices throughout Africa can use the MAC IQC as a convenient mechanism to implement conflict, prevention, mitigation, and resolution (CPMR) activities. PADCO can both implement a long-term program and respond to smaller, shorter-term initiatives on short notice.

Missions and Regional Bureaus seeking to set up MAC task orders should consult with the MAC Cognizant Technical Officer (CTO) in Nairobi when developing Scopes of Work (SOW). All task orders are directly processed and negotiated by the respective Bureau, Mission, or Regional Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer of the originating office will distribute task order requests and receive task order proposals. The MAC CTO will coordinate and track all activities under the IQC and will provide technical assistance to Missions and Bureaus on MAC-related activities.
